Whisper of the Wind

A tree? That didn't sound like a very good place for him to end up during the storm. Especially with how bad it appeared this one was planning on turning out. Hadley paused to let Amatha catch up before kneeling down and awkwardly scooping her into his arms. She half hanged off him as he continued, squirming and about ready to fall out of his arms as he picked up his pace. There was too much wood in his arms to manage to balance her properly, but he wasn't willing to let go of anything.

Of course! The pack would enjoy having you with us. He couldn't turn away Helios. Not when he was so needy. Hadley glanced over at him again, but he didn't catch any hints of deceit. The scarred male would just have to trust that this one truly meant no harm and was as nice as he appeared to be. There were no warnings telling him otherwise after all. It was difficult, but Helios had helped him and he had taken an oath to help those in need. Helios fit under that. His steps carried them to the borders, Hadley nodding with his head for Helios to keep going as they stepped over into the forest towards his home.
