Whisper of the Wind
#16
The hesitation was expected. Hadley certainly had trouble passing over different borders himself. He really only was comfortable approaching Aniwaya as they had offered him sanctuary. Helios kept up with him fairly well as they passed through the forest, the scarred hybrid occasionally pausing and checking the sky to see how close it was to breaking. The storm hadn't completely shattered out yet, but the wind was ruffling his fur and he felt almost like Amatha was going to be whipped out of his grasp and carried away.

Nodding his head Hadley moved through the fort and the more populated area before reaching the home and letting Amatha scamper out to where her comfortable room was. That will be fine. Setting the wood down Hadley grabbed some choice pieces to start a fire. He had a feeling that his sparing the carpentry wood would make little difference in the long run as other pack members would take from it, but at least it would last longer since he wouldn't be dipping into it himself. Find a place and make yourself comfortable.
