A Storm of Fear
#7
The knowledge that a storm was coming had the coyote strapping various weapons on, doing his best to be prepared. There was a slim set of stiletto daggers, beautiful in their style, along with a sword at his hip. He had grabbed rope and other various things from the home before heading out and locating Aro. As soon as he was in sight of his master the tension eased from his frame. It wasn't complete relaxation, but the panic from the storm was dissipated. His job was simple. All he had to do was keep Aro alive.

With only those fundamental thoughts running through his head Raoth studied the sky, searching for any physical threats he could fend off. He kept near Buck, not wanting to end up losing track of Aro's deer. They had a kind of truce between them from the time Raoth had spent caring for the deer, and he was not going to be the reason why Aro had to mourn. The deer would be kept safe as well. Raoth could only hope that Aro wouldn't do anything foolish, such as going to get Sidra to play hero.
