Skye looked at her garden in desolation - it had been completely uprooted, and none of her precious plants were left save for only a few. She knelt on the ground, lifting one of the tattered leaves delicately with a finger - when let go, it drooped again, and Skye sighed.
The town was not in much better shape, although she was grateful for the stranded travellers who had shown up and had helped her pack with rebuilding. They would need it.. more than just a few houses had been demolished, and some of them were owned by members. Taliesin, Hotaru.. people who did not deserve anything bad to happen to them.
She looked to the sky, worry in her heart; her son and his new mate had left the pack just before the storm hit. They were out there, somewhere, perhaps hurt.. what if a tree had fallen on them? Now that the immediate danger was over, Skye worried more than ever of what happened to her child and his love. Once, she had promised to him when he was just a little pup that no harm would come to him.. she desperately hoped now more than anything that that promise would not be broken.
