Towers in the sky, crashing down

The red male let the boards fall to the ground. The weather had gotten unbearable days ago, and now he was more then miserable from being so soaking wet. He was glad to have Temeraire with him, and when the two other male’s appeared to help as well Oak smiled at them. The wolves worked together to begin boarding up the windows, the wind howling around them. Though they were all powerful creatures the wind pushed against them with fury, and Oak found himself shading his eyes against the rain and at every turn on his head.

He looked inside the stables, once more. Oak was not one to know much about horses. He did not own one, and was not much of a rider. In Crimson Dreams all he had cared for was a pony and that was not hard when he was so willing to follow Oak anywhere. Are they all here? He asked the rest of the group while pointing towards the stalls, hoping that they were not missing one. Though Oak did not have his own horse companion did not mean he didn’t understand the importance of the bond that was built between steed and rider, and the value of each horse the pack housed.
