WC::449. 3 pts - Yay, Aniki follows like a good boy 
His cerulean eyes were quick to notice Aniki's fearful stance, his long ears pinned back, rump pressed against a tree and legs propping him up as best they could. He nodded as Teme voiced his agreement to Nier's little plan. The boy's tongue produced a clicking noise and he watched, happily, as the donkey's ears shot up, his large brown eyes turning to look at the two wolves. Nier saw a spark of recognition forming in the animals eyes as he saw the black and tan Stormbringer, remembering him from a night quite like this one. Nier smiled comfortingly at the donkey, happy that he was moving towards them, his rump unglued from the tree he had found. Aniki's brays cut through the wind and rain easily, announcing the jack as he moved. Nier walked backwards, occasionally turning sideways to keep an eye on the trail back to the stable.
He watched as Teme gently touched the jack donkey on his rump to keep him moving. Nier's shouted question to his nephew seemed to cause the boy some pain, he seemed to flinch, his ears turning horizontal. The flinch could have been nothing more than the rain playing tricks on his eyes so Nier chose to ignore it. Tem's words surprised him, why would Ink leave? He had thought the male had been settling in nicely here, making friends and working well in the stables. He knew there was no way of knowing why Ink had left, he was gone now and they would all have to adjust. But he knew that Tem would be affected by this, it seemed that all of the friends he made, that weren't family of course, were leaving. He reached out a tan handpaw to rest on his nephews shoulder, hoping to give the boy some comfort. He smiled reassuringly at the boy, a hint of pride at the mature way in which he was handling it in there too.
They were nearly to the stable now, Aniki still walking with them, placid and happy to be in the company of a familiar wolf, the occasional hiccuping bray bubbling from his mouth. As they rounded the stable and saw the slightly open door Nier whooped with happiness and relief, jogging forward to heave the door open a little more, beckoning for Teme and Aniki to get inside. He would be happy to get back to boarding up the stables once Coli's donkey was safely in a stall with a soft bed of hay. He looked around for his brother, finding the caramel man busy helping Oak with the other side of the stable. He smiled slightly, glad that his brother was helping and not hindering.
