out of character here

The Knight before her wasn't very helpful in his answer. Sidra's brow raised as she looked at him, only glancing at the door for a quick second before her gaze returned. Why would he have her break it down? Couldn't he? He was much bigger and stronger than she was...was he torturing her? A sigh broke through her lips as her head fell back into her cupped hands. Perfect... This was really the worst situation for them to be in right now. For one, the constant sound of wind rushing around the Courthouse paired with the rain was frightening. She just wanted to cuddle up with Aro. He'd keep her safe. Normally, Sidra wouldn't have needed a man's presence to make her feel at home. But, lately she felt the need for him more and more. She also felt the need for the whole pack. It was something she couldn't explain, but there was obviously something going on with her. Sidra simply refused to acknowledge what it was.

Several long moments passed without a single word. Alister made some shuffling and banging noises as he moved around to get comfortable. She peered through her hands to look at him before covering her face back up uninterested in what she saw. His voice finally tore through the silence causing Sidra's ears to twitch backwards as if it was annoying to hear his voice. Her head lifted to look at him, a glare on her face. It was awkward and Sidra couldn't help to think what Aro might do if he were to find them in here together, even if they weren't doing anything. She couldn't help but keep a vivid mental video of what had happened last time. He'd nearly pummeled Alsiter to a pulp and was angrier at her than he'd ever been before. Sidra would do anything to avoid him being angry. Yet another sigh drew from the leopard woman's lips as she looked over at the tawny man, now covered in a blanket. He looked so pathetic over there in the corner. Is it? I hadn't noticed. Sidra didn't really think much of what had happened the night she'd gone into heat. It was just another attempt at thievery to her and nothing more...even if her head had been clouded by the voices that tempted her. The awkwardness derived from their last conversation. The pendant was around his neck again, instead of hers and it hit a sour note to see it. She'd failed.

Several more moments passed and still nothing happened. Sidra got up and strode to the door again, feeling slightly dizzy as she stood. She made more attempts to open it, but came back to her spot without any success. As she sat down, thunder sounded loudly outside causing the woman to cringe in fright. Her hood was drawn over her head to cover her ears, which were pasted back fearfully. What was there to do until the door decided to open or someone opened it for them? Well, they could talk. Sidra peered up at him again, not really wanting to make conversation with him but it was better than sitting here and waiting for magic to happen. That and it would distract her from the storm which she tried act unmoved by. Well...I'm glad everyone made it back safely. Even you...Alister. Unfortunately for Sidra, the fright she was trying to mask showed in her eyes. There wasn't much she could do about it and even though she was trying to keep her thoughts off of the storm, there wasn't much else to talk about.
