Ulilohi was still shocked at the impact of the storm. This was her first, and it had proven to her that she was right in fearing it. They had been right in taking shelter. There were many injured, and she was on edge about anything as they were still checking out the damage, and still at risk. There was still mud throughout the Village, and the huts that had not fallen were still dangerous to enter. She was just waiting for more disasters, more injuries. They were lucky in one sense; there had not been deaths, except among the livestock.
Anatole's call sent her sprinting. Had he found something? He sounded like it was urgent, and she expected the worst. It took time to travel to him, time that frustrated her. She had long legs that were strong, but she was also heavy, and now she had to step carefully, for all the fallen trees and branches, and the mud on the paths. Not until his spirit guide met her along the path did she take a pace that was more sustainable; apparently there was a female in need of their help. Once she was close enough to smell them, her two legs were covered in mud about halfway up. She walked up to them, briskly at first but she soon slowed. She spoke to Anatole calmly, but urgency was present as an overtone. The female looked horribly sick. "What has happened?"
