She'd done it, she'd finally got to meet Deuce and let her know what had happened to their father. Now she was free to fully explore the lands she now called home. Nella was entranced by Arachnea's Revenge, especially the sugarwoods. Maple syrup was one of her favorite things. She was wandering, touching the scars of the trees tenderly, humming an Irish lullaby to herself.
She'd always hoped to become a mother. Perhaps now, with her task finally fulfilled, she could do that. Fulfill that wish. She had time now to meet someone, fall in love. Like the humans in the romances. She'd always wanted to fall in love. She wanted to know how it would feel.
She paused as the birds fell silent. Within moments they began singing again, and Nella resumed her idyll under the trees.
