It wasn't the first time he'd heard tales about how Amy had helped a pack mate here or there, or that she had done something to convince them that she was truly compassionate. Saki's paw was proof however. Tharin no longer believed that she would heal.

None of the other medics in the pack had been able to do anything. It was more frustrating than when he had not known how to use the various herbs. Here there were wolves with dexterity that could repair wounds that would kill in his birth pack, but they still couldn't help Saki.
