Jiva's mind was in turmoil, why did he feel this way? How could he think his mate didn't want to be with him? He was deep in thought about his mate and the child that they took care of together, though he thought of Leaf as a son, and loved playing with him and teaching him their ways, it seemed the boy just took way too much time from his mate. He had watched Leaf for a while but in that time Drin went out, he didn't mind giving her a break but the boy gave him so much to do that he didn't know where the time went.
Today he was free, Drin had brought the boy out for a hunting lesson, or herbal lesson, he wasn't sure which, but he felt lonely, so he left his empty house to explore his new borders. That was when he heard the howl. Curious he figured he could see who this guest was, he was not one for accepting or didn't think he should be greeting anyone wanting to join, but he needed comanionship. His tail started wagging a little at the thought of company. He tilted his head in interest at the woman who stood at the borders. She wore interesting clothing, and he was used to New Dawn where most of the wolves there did not wear anything at all so it was different. He smiled warmly and greeted her; “Hello, you are at the border of Vinatta, I am Jiva Takekuro, is there something I can help you with?” He asked pleasantly to the woman. He let his jealousy go to the back of his mind and paid attention to the woman in front of him. She looked nice enough and smelled of long traveling. He could see she was quite a looker too. Though he was mated, he told himself he could look but not touch.
