Her Return

Perhaps her own words had inflicted something a little more rude onto the shoulders of the other, normally Ellie would end up taking the words back and apologizing in a heartbeat. But maybe this time pride and self-worth had the best of her. Slight guilt was felt, like a small slice on the inside of her; like a long knife running the course on the inside. Her life had been so perfect, surrounded in the arms of family and love--Without fear or concern over life's paths. Perhaps she had blown off a little steam. Ellie disregarded her words, about the scent of the storm amongst the once-vivid smell of autumn wind. Her own words were not chosen as wisely at all. But it gave her something to say at least. The tawny one relaxed her stance, taking on a calm demeanor, long ears twitching. Yeah, Pride was right. Although painted in the tones of snow and cream, this one was likely more coyote through and through. And the way she defended it--Surprised the Lykoi Princess.

Bright green eyes widened slightly, bringing her arms to cross around her non-existent stomach, taking on a face of interest. Softer this time, Elody chuckled, lacking in the previous malice she held before. Wait. Ellie said softly, looking the Angela's daughter over. You haven't forgotten what you are. Elody had head of such coyotes, taking on the wolven ways and almost--well, believing they were wolves! That's...Cool I guess. Not an apology yet, but a little more gentle--And for once, holding a bit of approval. So she had been misjudged. The mottled youth had much expected a coyote thinking she was a wolf, brought up in the more pack-oriented ways than that of biological stimulus, which El thought rather surprising. Coyotes and their hybridages seemed to stick to their own ways...Shy from closer bonds and do what was essential. Sighing, Elody gave Pride space, calmer from the previous temper. What were you doing there anyway?
