Jiva knew Tharin would not hurt him, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t decide to dispose of Leaf. Jiva could see that Tharin was confused by Jiva, He breathed in; “Me and Drin adopted him. She said that he was a gift from Luna, I cannot deny my mate something she was suppose to be by now herself, a mother.” Jiva said, though he didn’t add that he was feeling much like a father to this child himself. Leaf stayed back to watch the man, and Jiva made no moe to coax the child out just yet
Tharin’s words made Jiva’s heart feel a little lighter and he let his gaze leave Tharin’s sight for hostility. There was none and it seemed there wouldn’t be. Jiva bit his lip; “No I do not think there is a problem.” He was looking at Tharin’s body now and tilted his head; “May I ask you why you are muddy of all things?” Jiva asked with curiousity, but the question was in no way demanding, he was just wondering why such a clean man as Tharin was so muddy, though the hurricane had left many very muddy spots that were not around before and Tharin could have fallen in one of those mud traps.
