Yes, not everyone minded rolling in the water. He knew that Kiara loved splashing around in it and playing. Tharin just saw it as a chore. He couldn't really enjoy himself to the same depth. The large wolf had frolicked in the water and enjoyed it, but those were on hot days when he needed to cool down. Playing around in the water when it was cold seemed to have no point, and enforced his thought of disliking being in it.
Jiva's comment was met by pure shock on Tharin's face. Eligible? Females? I would never- Did he mean that? Perhaps he didn't. Tharin wasn't one to challenge the alpha's position by mating with all the females. He just couldn't imagine doing such a thing. Yet Jiva mentioned it so casually! The shock was still there when the brownish fox came into view, still chasing Jiva's tail. Glad for the distraction Tharin smiled at the tiny critter. I'm sure he'll be able to talk soon. Tharin didn't speak directly to the kit himself, still seeing it as something belonging to Drin.
