It was a good house to stop in. The emptiness and stubborn nature of the door meant few canines would wander in. Amy had used the place once or twice before in the variation of her travels. She'd head in, set up camp in the empty rooms, and enjoy her time. Arriving a frown immediately crossed her face as she saw that the door was open. Someone had kicked it in. She passed Lucias over to Adara with a sharp word for no one to follow her. Grabbing a bow Amy slipped inside, sniffing the air. A male wolf from a pack was here. A deeper breath confirmed that it was Jaden. A half smile flickered over her features at the thought of seeing him again. He was always entertaining.
Slipping up the stairs Amy followed the scent trail across to the room that she'd concluded was too dangerous to enter. It looked like he was much more foolhardy than her, though there was hardly anything in there worth taking. Then again, Amy lived off the cream of life. There was no hardship that she didn't choose. Items that were deemed worthless for her might be seen as useful by another. Pushing the door open Amy let her eyes flicker over Jaden's body. He had his bow, a satchel, and the fighting gauntlets. The rest of him was open for admiration as he stood at the edge looking ready to make a leap for a bed. Laughing she shook her head. And I thought you were smarter than that.
