Remnant of the Past

He remained silent to her questioning, standing against her. It was impressive that he was still able to keep silent through everything she was putting him through. Granted, it wasn't true torture. She didn't think he deserved that. Amy would just keep applying pressure until she received the answers that she sought. Her eyes narrowed as he disclosed with ease what had happened to the loaned items. They had not been his to lose. She had made it clear that they were only a loan.

Taken? You've become so weak as to allow that? Amy didn't care why they were taken. It could be because of their friendship, or because he'd been considered too weak to be able to handle such deadly items without harming himself. It was still proof of how far he had fallen. Disgust crossed her face as he continued. Your alpha? Your alpha? You spoke of yourself as a leader, but you're not, are you? Just a cute little puppet for the true leader to tug around. Unable to contain her disgust Amy pushed herself off him. She couldn't bear to look at him or touch him.

You're no warrior. Amy didn't meet his eyes as she spoke, walking across the room to near the doorway. She didn't want anything to do with him now. She hated that he'd grown so weak and useless. What there had been between them was shattered by that fact. Fine then. Pay me for the daggers and we'll never cross each other again. She didn't want to see such a weakened fool.
