The worst part was the knowledge that Heiro was going to end up taller than her. She didn't stand close enough to him to find out if he'd already surpassed her, but if he hadn't he would soon. He smiled at her easily, not the least bit irritated or surprised that she'd known. Terra wouldn't let anyone catch her so easily of course. If she truly was going to keep hidden he wouldn't have been able to find her. Terra was awfully good at slipping away from others. She had to be really. Without that Terra would be dead. She took far too many chances to let herself be caught by any of those that might have a need to.

She grinned at his response, and turned back. Terra slipped over the border, walking with an ethereal grace as her steps danced over the land. The faint light the night gave was enough for her. Terra didn't miss much, listening to the scampering of various creatures in the woods. There weren't as many as there were during the day. Her head lifted as the scent of a canine reached her. Grinning wickedly she glanced back at Heiro. Someone's sleeping rather peacefully. Dangerous. Who knows what could be out here?
