OOC: Gah, cruddy post. Sorry! DX

IC: It was mid-afternoon and Kenna had just finished tending to her horse and was just about to leave the stables. She had finished her tasks early for she had some plans in mind for the day, and for once they did not include Dust. Replacing the pitchfork she had been using to move hay about in Dust's stall and add more to some of the other horses stalls, Kenna wiped her paws on her jeans and grabbed her hat off the edge of a water trough and then headed out into the sunlight. Now free, the cowgirl headed for her house close by. Skipping the few steps up onto the porch, she strode to the front door and leaned into the wood panel. The door was rather sticky in its frame. It was just one thing on the list she needed to get taken care of. Shoving her way inside, the door making a grating sound against the floor, Kenna hurried indoors and over to the corner of her home. Here, under a thin, moth eaten blanket that she'd found balled up on the windowsill a while back, she had stored her rucksack with the few belongings she had to her name. Crouching and untying the sack, she rummaged about inside for a smaller pouch which held the few gold coins she had. Hearing the metallic clinking of the coins against one another, she snatched up the pouch and dumped out 3 of the heavy currency.

Stowing away the pouch again and safely re-covering her possessions, Kenna once again headed outside and started deeper into Thornbury. She had been eying up a particular shop across the way from her home which had a couple fur cloaks for trade. As the weather was cooling off, Kenna was hoping to get one from her pack mate. She didn't have much of anything to trade with so she would have to outright buy. As she crossed Thornbury, she paused as she spied one of her pack mates walking slowly, almost depressed like through the small town. Pausing in her steps, the woman watched the younger female a moment, trying to recall her name before something swooshed over her head. Stepping back and glancing upward, shielding her eyes from the sun, Kenna spotted a small, colorful Kestral swooping overhead. She watched as the bird then reeled back and over towards the dark pelted girl. That was when Kenna remembered where she knew her from. Dalgina was her name and Kenna had helped her and another pack mate clearing the debris from Thornbury after the storm. Tipping her head slightly Kenna turned towards the young woman. "Dalgina?" She called out gently, slightly concerned for her pack mate, she looked so down. She then started to walk towards her. "Is...everythin' alright hon?" She asked kindly. "I don't mean to pry, it's just you look a bit blue." Kenna wasn't sure if Dalgina would remember her since their time together had been short, but hopefully she would. She closed the distance between them then, her concern growing as she got better view of the brown eyed young woman. Kenna had no idea that her darker demeanor was just the way girl was, nor did she know that she had experienced major trauma with her family in her young life that had only made it worse.
