Kiara and Tharin had been friends for a long time, their relationship as close as any other pack member. Yet, the transition from pack members to mates felt flawless and went smoother than Kiara would have expected. Things just seemed to click into place. Tharin was a good choice. He was strong and healthy, his dominance and success within the pack only an added bonus. Tharin was sure to provide Kiara with strong pups and unlike Alonso, would be there for her just as he was for Lucia and Kohaku.
The silver male's joy was apparent when Kiara accepted his suit and Tharin wasted no time. As he climbed on top of her, the tiny female could feel Tharin's excess weight. He wasn't like Alonso who had been nearly equal in stature to Kiara. Tharin was much, much bigger. Her muscles tensed as she began to support his weight, shifting slightly so that it would be easier on her. Even Tharin had to adjust his positioning before staring. Just as they would if she was in heat, the silver wolf nuzzled her scruff and took hold of it, sending a surprising rush of energy through her.
When Tharin entered, it wasn't as pleasing as her previous experience, which was probably due to the fact that Kiara wasn't in heat. Still, she couldn't describe the act as unpleasant and towards the end even enjoyed it. Patiently she waited, letting Tharin ride out his excess energy.
