And just as she hoped for, the sound of the youth graced her ears compelling the woman to move forward with a quickened pace to where the young she-wolf would be. Even as her swelling belly snagged on the stretching limbs of brush and thatch and mane was pulled and dotted by autumn leaves, she carried on with a smile. Her large form parting through the stubborn foliage to reach the young one and smile to her in greeting. Quite the elated one, this woman was and with good reason... or at least the Nomad part of her mind would rejoice. With glittering gaze she looked down upon the soft alabaster face and bequeathed an endearing tongue across her muzzle. True affection without necessity of formality or show of rank. Again, practicing the actions of a mother to be greeting her youth.

"Ah... truly the Ancestor's favor me," she teased with an excitable sweep of her tail, knocking aside the crowded brush and twigs. "I needn't assistance young Lyris, but was concerned for your whereabouts." The Nomad looked to the young one with a curious cant to her crown. "Your scent was dancing... and yet I did not find you doing the same. I was worried you had strayed away...perhaps in need of a guide home?" Kindly, X'yrin did her best to convey her worry that Lyris had become lost without bringing embarrassment on the girl for this assumption. As far as it was known, she could have truly been dancing and wandered away in her exuberance. Her tone was open to interpretation though the delighted inflexion was to maintain her hope that she had caught the dear in a comfortable mood as opposed to something other. But it was the lack of smile reflected on that snowy maw that made the woman think that she had found the female in an alternate disposition.

"Or perhaps," hastily the woman piped. "You could be kind to escort me to the dens?" Smiling, she nudged the girl playfully just beneath her ear. "No doubt I will need an aiding paw should I find myself wedged between rebellious brush again."
