WC:: 502 - OOC Hope you don't mind Malakai sniffing around - he's a darker character and with your char being young, Kai's started to take the youngsters under his wing, so to speak, those who show hints of being trouble makers, like Kai himself hehe. Ah, and welcome! points - 5 + 15

The borders had been fairly quiet recently, unfortunately for Malakai. His head had been a mess since things with Axelle had taken a turn for the worse. He cared for her so much, but she was keeping him at a distance and he couldn't figure out why. She hated having him close by, it seemed to him, even when the female had been injured, Axelle hadn't let Malakai take her to get help, had only wanting him to leave her alone. It felt to him like they were growing more and more distant, and so to try to occupy his mind, Kai had started to get back into old habits - namely, causing trouble and generally getting on everyone's nerves.

With few others around Anathema willing to get upto any great mischief, besides the young coyote he had recently joined forces with, Malakai's dark mood had been getting the better of him lately, his mind creating devious little things to keep him entertained, like the hideous torture of small forest creatures, the thought of snapping their bones delighting him. With his nose to the ground in his bulkier Secui form, the black male sniffed a trail left by a small deer, alongside Anathema borders, following it with his tail swaying a little. Every now and then, his head lifted, his ears twitching a little as he listened for any tell tale noises, any twigs breaking or quick heavy breaths but he couldn't pick up too much as yet.

Then he heard it - the call at the border. A visitor requesting permission to enter Anathema lands. Kai's attention switches to the call, changing direction a little to move closer. After a few minutes, Kai sees a female sitting obediently at the border, seeing the nervous glances as she waits for someone to answer her call. A slow, dark smirk drifts itself over Malakai's muzzle as his feral yellow eyes lock onto her. She was a youngster, too, this one. Impressionable, he was willing to bet. His predatory gaze darkened even more as he slowly sauntered towards the female, lifting his nose as he sniffed the air quickly. His eyes slowly moved over her form, eyeing her up like a piece of meat before he stood still and strong before her, on Anathema's side of the border. "Hmmm, what do we have here? Fresh meat for the pack... Though you're just a pup. You wouldn't even fill one belly, let alone a whole pack." His dark nature was clear from the start - he was messing with her, trying to play on her insecurities, her age and her nervousness. Kai was a predator in every sense of the word and not the friendliest when it came to meeting strangers at the border. In fact, he would probably be the last choice for a greeter. He took a slow, calculated step towards her - how she held herself now would determine just how well Malakai got on with this young female. Sink or swim time.
