WC:: 712 - OOC Points - 7. Welcome to the pack!

Kai's gaze swept over Aeron as she drew the dagger and cut her palm swiftly, knowing that it meant the pup was being accepted into the pack and knew that the next step was to cut her paw in the same way. As the Blood Ritual was done and Aeron's paw pressed to Leilahs, a smile drifted its way over Malakai's muzzle. She was family now, bound by blood to Anathema. As Aeron spoke of those within her pack who were of a darker nature, Kai's ears flattened a little in submission. Kai had killed, he was an outcast from his own pack, chased out by his own father for the murder of his brother, Rafael. Anathema had saved him in a way, and he had a lot to be thankful to the pack and its members for.

His instruction was clear from his Alpha, and he nodded firmly in reply to Aeron. He was to take the young pup into the heart of Anathema and deliver her to Charm who would no doubt be given the responsibility of guardianship of the girl. His feral eyes followed the Angela as she mounted her horse once more. "Yes, Aeron." It wasn't often that Malakai was so respectful or obedient, but towards his Alpha, he was always this way. His attention returned to the pup, the newest member of the pack and moved around from his position behind her, nudging her a little with his head to encourage her to move into the pack lands and to follow him.

His gaze briefly returned to Aeron before she headed off. "I'll take her to your den and deliver her to Charm. I'll make sure she is kept safe, Aeron. She won't come to any harm in my care" Glancing back to the pup, he issued a brief snort to her and jerked his head a little, getting her to move with him.

Kai began walking with Leilah, glancing back to her every once in a while to ensure she was still there, looking her over as she moved. For one so young, he was impressed with her spirit and fire and knew that when she got a little older, she would be a good asset to the pack. "Aeron is your new Alpha. She's known as the Angela. She is your God now, Kid. If she tells you to do something, you do it without question, because anything she wants you to do if for your own good or for the good of the pack." As they walked towards the Howling Caverns, Malakai thought of all the information he was given when he first joined the pack but he figured that if he was to escort the pup to Charm, she would want to give the girl the pack-joining talk herself as well as sort her out with a place to sleep.

As they reached the caverns, he led Leilah down into the dark caves and pointed out a few places on the way, like the common room, the library and storage rooms, before he took her into the hallway of dens. Kai walked towards his own den and glancing to the pup, jerked his head lightly towards the mouth of his own sparcely decorated den, furnished with little more than a few fur rugs on the floor and a small bedside table, with an empty small cabinet for weapons. Kai didn't need much in the way of material things. "This den is mine. If you need me for anything... Just come and find me here, okay, Kid? Or if I'm not here, just ask someone nearby for Kai." He gave her a minute to get her bearings as to the location of his den - second on the left along the left hand hallway - before he turned and followed the hallway along until he emerged once more outside of the caves. Turning, he made off to head towards Thackery Village where the Alpha's house was located. The journey was fairly short and approaching Charms place, Kai sniffed the air a little and poked his head towards the door and glanced back to the pup, encouraging her to step up and into the Alpha's territory, offering her something of a reassuring nod and smile.
