Damsel in Distress

may have gotten carried away. :3 Eilam bares a striking resemblance to Moss, but his coat is a dark earthen brown, almost black. He'll appear as a translucent figure.

Moss had been doing his best to be there for Terra and her quickly growing pups. But, it was becoming a harder feet with him not being a part of the pack. He tried to stay close to the borders so he'd be there when she needed him and he tried to bring her food when he could. Today, he was making it his mission to catch her something large for her and the pups to feast on. A deer would do. The rusty wolf-dog set out from his camp. He picked up a trail quickly and followed it, mismatched eyes focusing on the doe he'd tracked. Eilam had made it a point to follow him around today. Moss hadn't been paying much attention to the gentle spirit so he was getting restless. Moss turned to Eilam, ears pressed forward intently trying to ward him away with simple dominance. Eilam, not today....shoo.

The dark pelted entity stood tall on all fours next to his optime host, nose prodding against Moss's arm. It was a cold touch that sent shivers down his spine and unfortunately, caused his mind to shutter to a different era. Eilam's era. The past Alpha was in the midst of a hunt of his own, probably remembering it in relation to what Moss was trying to do now. He was hunched in Secui form, muscles rippling under his pelt as he surged forward, two other wolves flanking him. They drove a small group of hogs through the forest, leading them into the mouths of the waiting hunters ahead. Eilam took the lead, daring to nip at the largest hog's heals. The beast turned and drove his tusks towards the large wolf, impaling him. A yelp escaped Eilam as he rushed back into place, now limping due to his injury. Despite being hurt, he rushed forward deciding to take down the hog on his own. With a pounce, his was on the hog's back, claws shredding it's sides and jaws sinking into it's neck. The creature was soon unable to move and crashed to the floor, Eilam standing victorious over it.

Moss was released from the spirit's grasps to find himself in Secui form also standing victorious over his prey. The doe lay shredded beneath him, lifeless and covered in a crimson blanket. Moss shifted back into Optime, lifting to stand over his kill. His eyes were full of agony and fright knowing the deer had suffered a considerable amount. His head swerved to glare at Eilam, lip rippling as a growl was let loose. He knew it wasn't Eilam's fault, but he couldn't help but feel enraged at the spirit. Eilam stood with his head lowered, knowing exactly what he'd caused to happen. I apologize Moss. With a sigh, Moss regained his composure and lowered his head in thanks for the deer's life. Hide yourself, I'm going to the pack borders. Terra will appreciate this, however it was killed. The deer was slung over his shoulder. It was a mess compared to how his usual kill looked like. He wondered if Terra would question it. The thought crossed his mind, but he was much to irritated to care. Soon, he was at the borders. The gentle giant lifted his head in a call for the lovely young mother to come and greet him. Eilam stood not to far away from where Moss was, knowing the man was clueless of his presence. The spirit had other plans on his mind today.
