Tussling with her pups Terra whined happily, tail beating the air behind her. They were growing quickly, even if they were smaller than the other pups in the pack. Their coyote blood had assured that. Terra didn't mind though. She was convinced that they would be some of the strongest members that were there. Loki had her tail in his mouth when a familiar cry beckoned her. Straightening up she listened curiously. He was back! And had probably brought food.
Cheerfully she trotted to the borders, her own mixed cry echoing through the air in delight. She loved visiting with him, and loved the food that he provided. Spotting him she trotted right up, shifting into two legs. Her muscles ached slightly as she kept moving, long hair flowing down as paws turned to hands. Pushing up she hugged Moss, and looked down at the corpse. I see it put up quite the fight. Her words were teasing, looking over the mauled deer. Her body stiffened as she sensed something not quite...normal.
Terra looked around the surrounding area, studying for what was there. An echo of Moss stood in a nearby forest, covered in shadows. He was transparent, and staring right at her. Hackles raised Terra began to panic, caught between growling and running for her life. Loki and Ananse stared at their mother curiously. Mama?
