Darling Angel

The young pup quickly came over to the campfire, watching it's light. Amy studied her, noting the blond highlights that the fire caught. It was almost as if she was watching a rain of gold dance across her daughter's back as the light shifted around. She loved her daughter, even if she despised the man that had allowed Lucias to exist. If possible Amy would murder Lucias' father, and keep the fact that Shadow wasn't really Lucias' a secret for the rest of her life.

The baby speech was met with a curt nod, reaching over and fondling Lucias' ears. Yes. We're going to cook up some venison. Can you pass me the green spice that smells sharp? It's a mint smell. Amy explained it with careful precision to help Lucias identify what she was being asked to bring over. She could tell Lucias what it was called once she was adding it to the meat that she was currently separating and preparing to cook.
