Jiva's mind was in a jumble, he didn't know what to do, but he did his best to hide his feelings, many who met him recently could tell there was something wrong, but now he was as though he never had feelings before. His face was a mask of nothing, though he wasn't an angry wolf, he just did not want anyone seeing or knowing he was feeling guilty over something he and Drin should be working out, but he was afraid of losing his mate.
As he walked he heard the howl, in many ways it sounded familiar, yet it sounded so.... different. Curious he hurried to the borders where the howl originated. There stood a woman he had not seen for a long time. Soran, Deuce's mate, though they were no longer mates as Jiva once tried help Deuces' loss of her female companion. Jiva gave the woman a smile, not having any quirrels with her himself, though he did wonder why she was here and that was clear on his face. “Soran, it is good to see you, it has been a while.” He said in a quiet voice looking her over, she seemed whole and well enough and it made him wonder where she went off to that didn't warrant a heads up to her pack, since apparently she was now back in the area. “What are you doing over here?” He asked his eyes on the woman. Right now he did wish he had his mate with him, but it seemed that he would have to work out his own comforts inside his head.
