The familiar weight of his medicine bag on his shoulder was always a comfort to the male. He often came out to collect more supplies- it usually ended up being plants for oils that he could use to help others. Most of the time, if it wasn't a complete emergency, the members would be able to find him at home, but he came out often to gather more herbs and possible bandages that he might be able to find. Recently, he'd resorted to using the soft fur of a rabbit to bandage- depending on the age of the rabbit when it was killed, the skin was absorbent and worked well to keep the area sealed against bacteria. He was always trying to find new ways to do things and with the scarcity of the remaining bandages in hospitals he'd managed to find, his own supply was suffering.
The howl was a voice that he recognised, but he wouldn't say that he was perhaps overly familiar with it. He recognised the voice however and his brows furrowed. Her voice sounded strained, perhaps in pain or stress and Saul began to move with more purpose. Curious as he was, he knew that impatience would get him nowhere and for a brief while he was able to switch off. His concern for his sister and cousin was beginning to niggle- they were due back tomorrow and he hoped their trip to Freetown had gone well.
He came across her quite suddenly and he stopped abruptly. The make-shift sling held her arm awkwardly and he could immediately see why she was here. Coming to a stop and slipping the strap of his bag over his shoulder and onto the floor. Amy... what trouble have you gotten into now? He questioned, tone firm but relatively gentle. He wouldn't say the trader was his friend, but he was certainly comfortable with her.
