He had finally managed to fall asleep. Amatha had passed into her dreams some hours ago, but his worry had refused to leave him alone. Caring for the new member and waiting for Isa to wake up was taking up most of his waking time, and he hated the fact that he was watching her deteriorate before his eyes, unable to do anything about it. The sharp barks brought him back up, but it was only to mumble and roll over.
He wasn't used to sleeping on a bed alone, so he rolled right off. Hitting the ground woke him up. Standing he headed for the door, wondering who would be waking him up at this hour. Opening the door he peered down at a thin Neela with a pup dangling in her mouth. Stepping aside he indicated for her to come in, blearily staring at the other pups that were following. He yawned widely and shook himself, forcing himself awake. Whas wrong?
