A bomb in a birdcage

[html]your post was great ^^

The work was slow, the limb was a heavy one from the species of tree he had been named after. The large oak had out lived generations and generations of luperci, and he could not blame it for giving away one of his large heavy arms. It was the sort of tree that was well suited for tree-climbing, and lazing in the round generous boughs.

A heave, and a puff caused the branch to move a bit quicker. The weight of was a serious workout for the wolf. it But then it seemed to be just a bit lighter as he pulled once again. Tore bay eyes looked up, and saw the pale figure of a female, her long buttery mane waving around her shoulders. She was not dressed to be working with such effort and in such conditions, a thought that was prior to any other.

Oak straightened his back, standing at full height and brushed his hands off on his thighs. The branch was not yet fully off the path, but the pair had move it a considerable length. Hello there Oak greeted, more interested in exchanging a few words before he continued his work. She didn’t need to extend herself, if she did not truly wish to. By the looks of her, and mainly her clothing, Oak was not sure if she was truly up to the task. But he knew better then to assume that aloud, that had gotten him in trouble before.
