The pup was shaking now. Whatever had happened must have truly terrified him. Nestling down she nuzzled the pup, hoping that he would calm down. It's alright, nothing's going to hurt you. She wouldn't let anything do that. He might not be her pup, but he belonged to the pack, so she would care for him. He seemed frozen stiff, making no sound at all. She tried to be patient, tail swaying behind her as she waited for the pup to speak.
Another noisy assault struck her ears. He hadn't been hurt, but it certainly startled her, raising her hackles up. His answer was something so unpredictable she just stared at him. How had he managed to get lost? He must have wandered away from his parents. She knew who that was thankfully, so could bring him back to them. Well, if that's all. Bending down she scooped him up, heading for the hotel to ask where Silvano was.
