Amatha had run off again, not wanting to be cooped up in the medico room again. She loved her parents but she was bored in that room. Isa was still sleeping and Hadley didn’t usually leave her side except when getting them food. Amatha was just so bored. She slipped out of the fort and dashed through the court, stopping at a small meadow. She looked around at the changing leaves, watching as they fell to the ground. The air felt a little colder as well, even though there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. Amatha didn’t understand it, it would be the first time she experienced the seasons changed though so it was understandable for the small pup to be confused.
She sat there, taking in her surroundings for a few moments before a small giggle escaped her throat. Leaping forward, Amatha dashed forward, snapping at the leaves as they fell before diving down and rolling in the slowly dying grass.
