His plot is perfect if it sees no contradiction

Eh, Itachi is at home, rummaging about inside the cabin and the little garden outside. Perhaps Immy could pass by or something? :O

Scarlet eyes seemed to shine dimly in the dark room where he and China had shared their short time together. In truth, they’d been together for longer than some, but he knew it had not been long enough. He had dared to picture a long life with the silvery female, and to know it would never be so was unbelievably difficult to swallow. Perhaps the pain would recede some in due time, but he knew he would never find someone again. No one could shine as bright as she had.

The gilded male honestly didn’t know what to do with her belongings. Throwing them away was not an option that he would ever want to consider. They would be his for now, and he would pass it to the kids in due time. She hadn’t owned much – most of the items in the little cabin they had fixed up belonged to them both. Each had been empty handed when they met, and so what they had gathered during their short lives together belonged to both. Everything they had done, they had done together or for each other. Now there were two new lives connected to his, and it made it necessary to continue existing.

Although it didn’t take much to imagine it, the sickly sweet scent of blood and death was no longer present in his home. It would take time before he would move in with the children, but it was necessary to keep things in shape and continue the repairs he had stared. It also seemed one or more lesser predators had visited the deserted home. Some edges of fur covers had been gnawed on, and the small storage of smoked meat was gone. Nothing big – most could be replaced, except for the woman that had died here.
