Jiva’s thoughts were here and there and he was on yet another long walk outside his new pack. This one took him a little further than usual, but that was fine with him. It seemed like Drin was not sad that he was gone anyway. He moved slowly his mind set on the thoughts of his mate ignoring him, he had to practically beg her to mate with him and he felt horrible about that now. It was almost like he forced her in a way. It wasn’t until he was a few feet from the woman that he saw that skull. It reminded him of Emma, the woman he was so taken to for a short time before Drin, then he almost thought it was the skull of a wolf puppy and his fur went on end for a second until he saw it was shaped differently.
