He was a proud father. No, he would never deny that he was proud. He was proud of his mate who had borne him two beautiful, healthy sons who were robust with life. It meant that his father's line, and his mother's line, would continue on in his sons, his beautiful sons. He remembered how he had held them, those small, wriggling little boys who only squeaked at being kept from their mother's warmth as they struggled to crawl out of his strong hands toward their pale, beautiful mother.
Now they had their own personalities and their energies were different. They were two different children, that much he understood clear as day. He looked at his eldest, his Gene, who took on so much of his coloration and only the barest from Giselle. Gene.. his heir, the boy who would inherit his legacy; he would teach the young one what it meant to be a warrior, a defender of his family, his home, and his faith.
The other, however, was a sticker situation. Silvano had no idea what to do with his second, the youngest. Pascal was not like Gene; his colors were stranger, more of a mix between the two parents. But Silvano loved him nonetheless. Perhaps he ought to spend the day with the boy, and figure out what to do with him, where his interests lay. He was at the hotel, knowing that Pascal stuck to his mother's hem like no other. A day out with his father would do him so good, for sure.
