She was still standing on the beach alone with the watcher high overhead. She had a million thoughts wondering through her mind as she watched the waves, trying to ignore the figure high overhead but knowing that he was there was too much. The bitch was curious and when curiousity took over she had to follow where it pleased. Tilting her head up to catch sight of the figure from the corner of her eye she gave up and gave in. She knew he'd seen her and she'd seen him, she didn't want to seem rude and she was still lonely for company, though she'd never admit it to another's face.

She turned and walked towards the strange building, there had been one like it in the old territories and Phoenix Valley claimed one as well within their packlands but something about the icon frame of the one before her made her slightly uneasy. She moved step by step up the stairway, the scent of Inferni meeting her nose, making her wonder if it belonged to the male she had been looking for, if only to break the news before never seeing his face again, but she figured she couldn't be so lucky. The winding steps brought her closer to the top but she didn't move on past the darkness on the stairs out into the open light. "Hey..." She called out softly, the next words out of her maw would have made her laugh bitterly if she'd seen who she was making the promise to. "I'm not here to fight.. I'm.. just looking for someone.."

The matriarch of Phoenix Valley was past the blows they'd dealt upon one another so long ago, she knew she shouldn't have snapped at the male but Gabriel had more than pissed her off time and time again that season with his controling hand over her friend and she'd stepped clearly over the line when she'd given Haku the chance to escape from the wrath he'd rightly deserved at the leader's hand. There was too much irony between the two and she didn't even know his name, but she owned him a lot and he didn't even know it, atleast he hadn't killed her daughter in the war, even if he couldn't have protected her every moment of every day.
