Naela whined and scratched the dirt; she was lonely and she was hungry. In turn, this made her sad, which made her doubt herself and – most importantly – her purpose. Surely she had a purpose, but at that moment Naela wasn’t so sure. Unless her purpose was to simply wander around aimlessly for the rest of her life. But that wasn’t much of a purpose. If that was her purpose then she would probably jump of a cliff. But Naela was neither masochistic nor suicidal, so the chances of that actually happening were very, very slim. Sighing a strange wolf-sigh, Naela started walking again. She had no idea where she was going, she never really had. Most of the time she just walked, not really paying attention to where she was going. More than once she’d stumbled across the edge of a pack boundry, but she was too chicken to bring attention to herself. Even though she desperately wanted to join a pack. Naela certainly was a strange wolf… but that was a given.

Naela’s nose twitched; was that… could that be…? Another wolf…? Suddenly happy, Naela jumped over a rock and looked around, searching for the other wolf. She spotted something in the distance, it had four legs and a tail… but that wasn’t a wolf. That was lunch. Naela’s eyes glinted hungrily as she crouched low behind the rocks, moving gracefully through the rocks just out of sight of her prey. She moved closer, stalking her prey, hoping she wasn’t giving herself away. She hadn’t done this in a while – she usually just waited for other canine’s to finish their meal and then try to get something off of the leftovers – so she was probably a little rusty around the edges. Still, nothing could out rule her instinct, and that was what was driving her now.

Then something else caught her eye, she was momentarily distracted from her prey by the creature she had smelt before. So there was another wolf.

my god, that was so incredibly BAD! Dx
