The bi-colored hybrid strolled leisurely along the lengthy road, following his nose as the scent of the sea grew stronger and stronger. His love for the ocean was substantial, although he didn’t swim in it for one reason or another; his mind seemed to be on too many things to actually concentrate on partaking in one of his favorite pastimes. But he did enjoy strolling along the beach, for not only did he have time to himself to think, but it gave him something to do rather than sitting there, looking like he felt.

A bend in the road opened up to the beach, the sands shifting slightly in the gentle breeze. The sun had set, leaving a clouded moon in its wake and a pair of mahogany eyes to stare at it longingly. Anti found a flat boulder to sit upon, his white-tipped tail curling against his left thigh as his elbows embedded themselves into his knees and his muzzle was buried gently into his hands. He found comfort in just sitting there, his face closed off to the world beyond his own body.
