Brooklyn wasn't satisfied with the kit that she had in her mouth; she wanted what the others had! The smaller pup dropped the squealing baby rabbit and started after her siblings, reaching over to nip at the still-warm rabbit that they carried between them. She let out small yips every few steps, trying to convince one of them to drop it as they went.
Naniko looked tiredly to Anu and gathered up the kits. They would die anyway, even if they didn't take them, and the pups could play with them later on. As soon as she had all of the wriggling rabbits she walked toward Anu and looked up ahead to the pups. They had it right. Time to go home.
