How she teased. She'd always been like that, but to see her return the same way was interesting to him. Individuals didn't change dramatically from childhood to adulthood. It didn't seem like she'd changed much at all - at least, not toward him. At the same time, he was just getting to know her again, too. It was a strange, unfamiliar feeling.



Firefly didn't seem to believe him. He didn't blame her. Keeping promises was not among his best social skills. He tended to appease others just to fail to follow through. Of course, the youth wasn't thinking about that now; he truly trusted himself not to play keep-away with his sister anymore. Her next words were almost defiant. He chewed his lip subtly. "Same things," was his quiet response. "I just didn't... know if you had anything special to do - more interesting." After all, she wasn't one to lay low, like he did.
