Pack meeting. Haku should reply next and then everyone else. Yeeeeaaaah. Oct 31, dusk. Town Square.

The had been at it’s highest point in the sky when Cercelee had started the preparations. The day before she had found the Chinese lanterns and candles that lit them in an old boutique in Wolfville. At first they had puzzled her, what use did the humans have for such filmsy paper shapes? Yet further exploration of the store had solved the mystery because the back room was lined with the lanterns, equipped with candles and Cer knew well enough what candles were for. Now the white square lanterns lined the outside edge of the concrete slab were the pack meetings were held, and spherical lanterns of every color hung from trees in the park just outside the boundary the white lanterns made, as well as hanging from the gazebo off to the side. In the center of the meeting area, in the dead center of the circle of stone benches Cercelee had built up a bonfire, though not too large as to make those who gathered around on the benches uncomfortable with the excesses heat. Although the darkness of the night was quickly approaching, the town square was lit up in festive lighting and Cercelee knew that if any of the wolves wandered in Wolfville tonight they would know of her plans before she called to them.

Haku had been instructed to procure their feast, enough to feed the whole pack with some left over, and she knew that he would not disappoint her. While she waited for the male to arrive she transported the bottles of wine she had selected for tonight, for those who wished to indulge after the formalities of the meeting. Cercelee placed them under the benches in the gazebo, best to get official business done before she passed those out, Cer knew too well what too much drink could do to a wolf. Looking around, Cercelee smiled to herself, setting up everything on her own had been hard work and she did not have the energy to shift back into her four legged form, but that could not be helped. Turning her head she saw the figure of Haku, carrying with him a large bundle and she knew it was time. Throwing back her head she let out a long, mournful howl, calling forth the members of her pack. It was time.
