She hadn't been far behind Haku, yet she'd been moving at her own pace, lazily weaving her own path through the cool grasses, the damn dew tugging at her paws as she smiled to herself and watched the sunlight's last dying rays fading away into the twilight hours. The mournful howl of the Rosea met her ears but the young woman didn't quicken her pace. She knew she wouldn't be the last to the meeting tonight but she didn't want to be the first either.
Dropping her nose to the ground she caught the scent of Haku and atleast knew that both of the leaders were present on the park grounds. She lifted her head up, flicking her bangs from her eyes with the toss of her head and smiled to herself, remembering the moment the two had made the kill, the salty taste of blood and the overpowering scent of the Lilium, both equally powerful and both electrifying. She growled softly at the memories with a smug grin upon her maw as she finally picked up her feet.
The warm glowing light and the scent of the smokey bonefire made her eyes glow in the death of the day's sun, the coming night enveloping the lands beyond the candles and ornaments that Cercelee had deemed worthy to be useful during this meeting. The yearling trotted into the light, her hips swaying slightly as her tail danced softly back and forth behind her. She didn't pause until she leapt up onto one of the old logs and stuck her nose up against one of the lanterns, the flickering candle inside bravely flaring and fighting against her guttering breath.
Not wanting to put out the lantern the golden and bronze girl dropped off the log and slithered down into the warm grasses between the fire and the log that was now her backrest. Her bejeweled orbs gazed beyond the fire at the two leaders that sat there as she lowered her head to them for a moment as she adverted her eyes. Just as quickly as she'd showed her respect to them the girl lowered her lashes and dared Haku to do something about the distance she'd chosen to place between them, asuming that he wouldn't do a damn thing and it would drive him crazy just the same.
