The remaining members that were still here came as always. He noticed with indifference the lack of the black Susquehanna, his and Mew’s aunt, sister of their mother. He would not particularly miss her, not because she was not worth missing, but because he had meant she had not been suited for a pack life from the impression he had gotten from her in general, and specially he remembered their last interaction, where she had managed to piss him off by acting in a way he found disrespectful in the presence of a trespasser. The rest he all knew and Firefly knew so well what she was doing, and as usual driving him crazy mentally. Mew was as uncomfortable with him as he want with her, so that fitted very well. At the rest of the arrivals he simply nodded then looked away, always keeping his gaze in the fire, except when the need to look at Firefly became too much.

Chocolate ears flickered in a shallow discomfort in agreement to the fragment of sadness in Cercelee’s voice as she let her voice announce the opening of the pack meeting. He said nothing, just kept his gaze on the ivory leader as she spoke, dutifully paying attention. Border control was now under control, as Cer announced it was up to everyone. He was content with that. Scouting was not a hard job, and just taking a walk not too far from the borders was enough. Some more info, more or less, and the alphess was done. Cold eyes in the shade of ice a cold winter morning turned to him, but she had covered what he had wanted, so he had very little he wanted to share with the rest, aside from announcing all the dirty things he wanted to do with the wolfess he had learned was his very cousin. Was it a disgusting thing, fooling around with a family member? Too bad in that case, because the copper lady was lovely.

While we encourage everyone to pay some attention to the borders in general, there are open scout slots for those who want to spend long days wandering back and forth in half circles. If any of you are interested, poke me about it. There. That was all. He let his gaze meet Cercelee’s before he let it wander over to each of the other pack members in turn. Now was time for any of them to speak up.
