All Hallow's Eve

She'd let her eyes linger on the members as they'd slowly filtered into the meeting ring, the looks that she received from a few of them didn't bother her too much. She knew that her own private life wasn't too private considering who it consisted of but she didn't care. If others wanted to involve themselves in the darker side of her life that was fine by her as long as they kept tart words and their additudes to themselves. She yawned and turned her face away once they'd gathered, her eyes catching sight of Haku as she realized those preditorial eyes were on her. A sly smile pressed upon her maw as she realized that Cercelee was drawing up the openning of the meeting.

The icy leader spoke as Firefly's eyes turned back when her name was spoken. She felt a flash of alarm when Cercelee hasn't mentioned Alexey but it seemed just the same the white woman had corrected herself with the knowledge that Alexey was tending to family ties. Firefly wrinkled her nose a moment as she drapped an arm over the log she'd been leaning against, wishing that Alexey had told her she was heading off and leaving her all alone again in the lands. She'd seen the few members she'd even felt were like friends disappear, except Haku, but she herself wasn't even sure what to consider the Lilium anymore.

Her ears flickered forward as she absorbed the rest of the lady's speech as she pondered just what she could be good for. She could probably imagine what a few of the packmembers thought she was good for but that was their problem. She knew how to read and write, she was a fair hand at hunting and an excellent tracker.. She just didn't know if the others would appreciate her skills. Normally she wouldn't have cared, but the plead from the Rosea would probably turn into a demand at some point.. she might as well make her choices sooner than later.

While she was pondering the chocolate mocha male that was her part time lover had stood up to confirm the words their leader had spoken of and add his own. She hadn't expected him to add much more, the male wasn't normally one for lengthy speeches except when needed. She watched him from the corner of her eye as he spoke, just asking for help on scouting the lands. Firefly ran one hand through her unruly hair before rolling onto her belly and perching her upper body upon another rough log that would probably be used as fuel for the fire soon enough. She flashed Haku a grin as she spoke up. "I can help with scouting.." She knew that she could probably be helpful around the pack and along the other packlands as well as the unclaimed territory. She had enough family members spread across the lands she could seek out to visit while she explored. "It's not like I have a short supply of family in other packs.. since everything keep changing." She knew the others would understand if they'd been outside the packlands at all. The packs that had been there had rotated and some had removed themselves entirely. It was a little unnerving to walk into lands you knew were claimed last moon and now were bare of all.

She glanced down at her hands as she admitted as well, "I can help with the tracking and hunting as well.." She didn't look up to Haku when she spoke of it, though he'd been around enough lately she knew how he tended to disappear until he wanted that fire that bored between them. She didn't want to spend her days waiting unbusy til his next dark yearning.
