Her pelt seemed to absorb whatever light that was left, so she was not as hard to spot as he wished she was. There were no excuses. Ah, well. His ears returned to their usual content position, and he let his 2/3 piece of a tail wave slowly back and forth. He gave her a nod in greeting, wondering how long she had been watching him. Well, this day would probably have proved somewhat dull anyway, so why not try to practise social skills?
