lezbn Tayui had seen ghosts all her life, but this instance was perhaps the most peculiar. She had a 'friend' that was a ghost, a crow in fact, who had been 'assisting' her in learning low speech. She had met the ghost of her friend Fly Agaric after his death, seen the flickering forms of many souls long gone in the Haunted Woods. But why this one? She had never thought Aurèle had lived an unfulfilled life and never had she imagined that her sister would return to her. To say that they had not gotten along would be falling short. The two were always raising their hackles, always arguing over something. Of course, Aurèle always won, and their mother always sided with her, but Tayui had never learned. Now she had.
lezbn "My apologies, sister, but ghosts cannot join packs. You'd be of no benefit to us. If you've good intentions, you could find a home in the human city to the South, or the Yawrah if you'd prefer." She chuckled at the absurdity of the situation, amused that her sister had the gall to come back from the dead and ask for a place in her back. Tayui had seen the destruction, seen her family die - she knew Aurèle was dead. There was no other possible explanation for this unexpected arrival. Even so, she supposed it was nice to see her sister, grown up or not. She would have to ask her about that - how she managed to 'grow' in her spiritual form. All the ghosts she knew had retained the appearance they had at the time of death. In fact, there were a few other things she would ask her, about dying, the fire, her brother. Perhaps Aurèle had even grown up while being dead.
