His white ear twitched as he thought he heard the sound of chuckling. It wasn't enough to distract him from his current task however. Every time he got close, or tried to pounce, the bug hopped away just in time. Surely this little game of cat and mouse could have, and would have, gone on for hours if a loud voice hadn't broken the pup's concentration. His head shot up in the air and he spun around to face the mystery voice. Even though the goal had been to startle him, his reaction was in curiosity, not surprise. There was nothing that scared the pup, and having three siblings had made him alert for sneak attacks.
Jade eyes took in the sight of a rather odd looking fellow. This guy definitely took the funny looks prize away from his cousin Ty. He was red and white, with two different colored eyes, and a tail that curled up on his back. A broad, puppy smile lighted up his face. "It was a bug! Tho a goose sounds like funs too!" Haven padded up closer to the stranger with his over sized paws. "Yous looks kinda funny. Whys your tail do dat?" He wondered if it hurt. It certainly didn't look like it would be comfortable.
