I'm going to skip her. b: She's really busy with finals.

Beppe wagged his tail a little, eyes reflecting distorted squares of white snow, and turned back to Jasper. He didn't notice that the other's eyes had momentarily passed the mother and son, and as he waited for a response from his mother his thoughts were almost absent. The boy's mind gently regarded the fog, the snow that was nipping his feet, and the warm presence of the other.

He shuffled a little, eyes wandering the ground at the other's feet, and offered a wide smile and nodded. That was it. Maybe the other had another question; Beppe couldn't guess. This was the first time he was experiencing something like this. It wasn't a bad feeling, at all, but it certainly made his heart pound a little faster. After being isolated for so long the boy was actually liking interaction with someone else, even if they were relatively arbitrary questions.
