Here she was, wandering again. This time she was looking for the last of th herbs that migt be growing wild. She hadn't had enough time to cultivate a proper herbal garden in Phoenix valley this year; her hard work had gone to support Twilight vale, and later Crimson Dawn. Next year would be better. She would talk to naniko about getting some offshoots to transplant.
So here she was, on top of the world, it seemed. She wasn't too far from home should disaster strike. Unless, of course, she fell and broke her leg. And then she'd be in major trouble. Of course. Not a day went by without Deuce worrying about getting hurt and being unable to work for her pack. She wouldn't be able to bear it.
She sat down, not even noticing the panther nearby, thought the scent tickled her nostrils. Her mind was wandering as she stared out at the view.
