No worries! <33

Naniko was hoping to teach all of the children low-speech eventually, but only if they wanted to learn. She really liked being able to communicate; it made her job a whole lot easier, as a healer, if they could tell her where it hurt. For a while, when she had been younger, she had basically lived off of fish. So she knew about the many different types of them, which ones tasted best, which ones were harder to find...and what kind of bait to use for each one.

"There are some really good tasting ones in the lake. They like really big worms..and some tall plants that I found in a field near the mansion. Little pieces of the yellow plant. These ones have whiskers, almost like a cat...but I'm not sure what they're called." She was more than happy to share her knowledge with Garnet. "When you go, you can take a fishing rod with you if you want. And worms are pretty easy to find--just dig anywhere. They're in the ground. Most fish will at least go for worms." They reached the lakeside and she got all of the materials needed from the hole in the ground.

"Another easy way is with the net. You just put it up in the water and fish swim into it--then you drag it through and catch them" Salem looked thoughtful, looking at the water, still thinking about the thing that she had spoken about first. "Momma..kitty-fish. Cat-fish." That name sounded good enough to her. "Alright, dearie, we'll call them that." Naniko looked to Garnet, handing her a pole and opening up the jar of corn. "You just take some from the jar and put it on the hook at the end...then you dip it down into the water and wait for a fish to come along and try and grab it. When it does, yank back really hard and pull it up out of the water"
