"I’ve been in Inferni," he stated, not sure if he was revealing it to Savina or if he was admitting it to himself. To say it was completely different than just thinking it. He had to finally admit where he had been for those two long months. He wiped his eyes, as if expecting to find moisture there. Yet, there was nothing. Instead, he felt a chill grip his spine. Perhaps he didn’t want to come to terms. But he knew he had to. He knew he needed to and would eventually overcome this.
"She couldn’t love me anymore, Savina." Pilot told her, looking towards her emerald eyes, but quickly looking away when he saw concern there. He almost felt guilty. "Not after the way Hybrid touched me," he said, his voice trailing to just barely above a whisper. He closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around his frame. For a moment, he felt as if he could feel the touch of Hybrid’s fingertips along his skin, and he shivered. That was over now. He wasn’t anyone’s pet any longer.
